was that a 3rd gen or 2nd or what, im guessing a second with an sr20 in it, either way, the fastes STOCK ive seen was a 3rd gen hit 15.4stock and as far as modded altimas, i havent seen any actual timeslips from those, although the fastest claimed speed ive heard that actually sounded reasonable was roughly 13.3 i think

Well my altima gets to work in about a half hour. I think that's the only track my car will be seeing for a while.

Lot's of em, like intake/exhaust. Plus JWT parts like wild cams, ecu, & a 65-shot nitrous. transmission's got a lightened flywheel.

From what I remember, the pictures showed that the car was stripped down on race day. No door panels, spare tires, seats, and the like.

That is a bad *** sar.I ran my stock 2k2 3.5se Altima (auto)at the last Beech Bend meet.My best of 3 runs was a 15.152 which I thought was pretty good. There was not much traction to be had that day.

I just left it in D.You dont have to shift the 3.5 out of D untill you reach triple digets.I think I made it to 93 mph prior to tripping the light at the en of the 1/4.As for the launch I only ran it 3 times the 2 best timed I power braked it and both runse were close. The last time I just slamed it and ran a far worst time.

wow, those are nice numbers tho, 93mph and 15.1, im sure with some nice stickies u could get into 14s no problem, thats awesome, 14s with just tires, and it still looks and rides so nice

LOLIts not that easy.Matt has a 2k2 Maxima 3.5 and he has a few mods on his.CAI and lowered and he runs a 15.010 or something like that.He just got a underdrive pully and some nice piping for his muffler so im sure he will break into the 14's next time out.

yea but it shouldnt take much for ur car to get down there either, is his maxima an auto or 6 speed??< and also, if u had better traction (u said traction was crap) then shaving off .1 cant be TAHT hard

without slicks traction is going to be an problem.A funny thing about racing at the track is most of the time you run one or two good runs then try to get better. However I usually run my best time 1st,then caint match it or beat it either.LOL BTW his Max is an auto.

wel u dont neccasarily need slicks, and even if u just launched a lil bit better, with less wheelspin and such, then ucould hit 14s stock, ive seen timslips of stock 3.5 altimas running 14.8
