"Altima cars grew to 25,434, helped by the addition of a new coupe version, said Mark McNabb, head of North American sales. "We did 3,228 units of the Altima Coupe, and that's really helped pick things up," he said in an interview with Bloomberg News.
Nissan finished ahead of competitors such as Toyota, Chrysler, Honda and Ford in August on a percentage basis. Its sales were up a modest1.7 percent in July, when the industry as a whole saw U.S. sales fall 12 percent.

EDIT: I just found out about the Canadian sales, and here they sold 315 unit of the Altima coupe. More exclusivity for us!
