Altima coupes sold in august

"Nissan's Altima accounted for about a quarter of its sales in the month, including a boost from the new Altima Coupe. The company recorded 3,228 sales of that new model for the month[...]"

"Altima cars grew to 25,434, helped by the addition of a new coupe version, said Mark McNabb, head of North American sales. "We did 3,228 units of the Altima Coupe, and that's really helped pick things up," he said in an interview with Bloomberg News.

Nissan finished ahead of competitors such as Toyota, Chrysler, Honda and Ford in August on a percentage basis. Its sales were up a modest1.7 percent in July, when the industry as a whole saw U.S. sales fall 12 percent.

EDIT: I just found out about the Canadian sales, and here they sold 315 unit of the Altima coupe. More exclusivity for us!

3,228? That's great! But how many is that in CANADIAN sales?Just kidding!!!Personally, I'm hoping to be only the first or second in my hometown. Wyoming is like Canada in more ways than one, I think.

I have been driving mine for 2 1/2 months in Ottawa and I've only seen 2 others ever and 1 of those was parked when I saw it. My coupe is still turning heads everywhere I go. I thought more would be out by now but I kinda like that it's still very unique.

Yeah, agreed with poster above, it's extremely rare that I see an altima coupe in montreal. I saw only one parked since I purchased the car a month ago.

But there are alot of altima sedan taxi drivers here in downtown.

I only saw two, one black and one white. My mom saw a grey one that was parked in a loblaws and she was like hehehe

I have my coupe since mid june and i just seen two one in my area east of Mtl and one on the west ,side both where park

People still stop me on the sidewalk to have info on this car!!

I have only seen 1 fully loaded Black 3.5 and it was parked. This is amazing too me, as I am a sales rep and I am on the road traveling around LA and Ventura counties 4 Days a week. I am not complaining

I am still turning heads every place I go. You can always tell people behind you are talking about your car when at a stop light.

However, the compliments I get every time I wash my car gives me the most pride. Most of our neighbors are a little or a lot older then us and drive nice cars, and they frequently stop and talk about it how classy and spoty our car looks. Some even say I make them look bad (jokingly) to their wife by how well I maintain the car
