i dont have a sun/moon roof loldangeris wrote:I don't have leaks like what you have on the pillar but this last summer when we had 2 torrential downpours, after the storm there was a puddle of water on my passenger side floor mat. Luckily for me I have the all weather mats so the water was "contained". If I didn't, I would not be a happy camper
I've had similar problems...I haven't taken it to the dealership yet, but I'm also having a strange sound almost like a pop coming from the right side of my car somewhere..ALX3333333 wrote:- check engine light comes on constantly; began two days after I bought it. I was told that the wrong gas cap was installed, so it was replaced...twice. I was then told that I wasn't placing the cap back on correctly. It's pretty difficult to NOT put it on correctly. Anyway, I just put a lot of force behind it when I screw it back on. It hasn't come back on in a couple of months.
- rattling noise around the windshield when I drive >55mph in cold weather. They have done nothing to fix this
- rubbing, or grinding, noise when I turn sharp right; again, nothing done to fix this so far
I have the same issue, sort of. Its more of a popping and rattling noise. Turns out its the rounded cover on the right side of the passenger seat. A nice love tap to it fixes itKilLer_KenZz wrote: I've had similar problems...I haven't taken it to the dealership yet, but I'm also having a strange sound almost like a pop coming from the right side of my car somewhere..
Hmm I see...I'll have to examine that and see if I share that problem. It sounds like it's coming from outside of the car thoughlosenone wrote:

Glad to see that your problem was resolved. I wonder if that is the case with mine except it would be the drain on the windshield.. I'll have to take a look but its cold out now and I don't have motivation when its cold..ALX3333333 wrote:I finally figured out my problem. It had to do with the tubes that are connected to the moonroof that allow water to drain.
I took off the vanity mirrors (two screws on each mirror) and the handles/grips that are attached to the interior roof. I also took off the A pillars (refer to imnot2g4u's picture) to visually see the drainage tubes. I was able to pull the interior roof down far enough to reach the two front tubes that are connected to the moonroof. I disconnected them from the moonroof and blew into each of them. The driver side tube wouldn't allow me to blow any air through it, but the passenger side was fine. I used low PSI on a compressor to try and blow air through and see if something was blocking it, but that didn't help. I slowly poured water into the tube and watched as it backed up to the top. It was very, very slow to drain. I could only see the tubes from the top of the moonroof to the bottom of the A pillar; there were no blockages there. Since it went down into the dashboard, I decided to take it to the Nissan dealership and told them what was happening. They removed the dash and followed the tube. Turns out, the tube was cut a few feet too long, which caused a kink in the tube. They cut the tube to size and eliminated the chance for any more kinks. Water flows through nicely now.
