I have a 2011 Nissan Altima Coupe and yesterday randomly my steering wheel became hard to turn. I had a friend check the power steering fluid which was fine and no leaks. I do not want to take it to the dealership as I just spent over 500 there last month. If I can figure out what it is then I can get someone I know to fix it! Has anyone else had this issue? Or is this common?

You can try wiggling the power steering pump pulley and see if there is any play in it?

It is where your friend had checked the level of the fluid. But it depends on what engine you have. The 2011 Altima comes with a 2.5 4-cylinder or a 3.5 V6. You can YouTube "2.5/3.5 2011 Nissan Altima power steering pump" and see if someone has a video that could be of better service. :)
