My girlfriend and her bro's friend sat in the back. The trip was about 220 miles round trip. They said the trip wasn't that bad. So much for the A/C being a two-seater. I averaged about 23.7 mpg and 70.8 mph.
But now, the reason for this thread...
Bat meausred my roof and the roof overlay is pretty much ready for purchase. I don't know when he'll have it up on his site but I have to go back this Sunday for his installer to install it and after that pictures will be available. I can't wait, it's gonna look awesomeeeeee.
Bat's the man.
I think it'd look nice on a black car too...noshift wrote:personally i think a black roof only looks good on white cars. sometimes red and silver.
I agree certain car colors look better than others with the roof overlay. Ryan has a grey G35 and it looked pretty good also. I think the key is that the vehicle has tinted windows... this gives the illusion that the window is continuous from the front to the rear of the vehicle!noshift wrote:personally i think a black roof only looks good on white cars. sometimes red and silver.
Love it!mcheddadi wrote:
Man! white with a black roof is SOOOOO Awesome!!! I always wanted to do that on my beetle lol
But I don't think a black roof would look good on my blue coupe though.

Dammit Bat come on, I want to show them already.Blue Batmobile wrote:

That's funny. That's exactly what Alvin and Ryan were looking at after they installed it on my car that night. They were already constructing a overlay to go on the back window the same color as my car to make it look good. I dunno if they're actually going to make it though.johnny_d wrote:looks good but it would look a lot better if the back window wasn't wider than the roof ...
haha thats wat i was thinking too.. i think it would look nice if the color matches correctly...id buy that even without the roof overlayBlackNWhite wrote:That's funny.
