Good day. Qualified back in 24th, not terrible but we had our work cut out for us. Got through our 2 pit stops and battled all the way up to a solid 7th place finish. Would have been a bit better but we hit a curb hard and bent the left front wheel which knocked out the alignment and made the car a bear to drive. Great job by Lara and Vesko for driving the wheels off it!!!

We are racing at the Brickyard!! It's awesome to be here and part of the historic first grand-am event here! Tomorrow is crazy we practice early then qualify right after then a couple hour break then race at 1. Keep an eye out on speed2.com for possible live airing of the race.

Care to give us a little info on who you guys race against, regulations, where, when you race? I don't have much knowledge about racing but would love to start following your team and learn a little more about everything.

Rough race for is in Austin. First off we had a great crew with us we all worked or butts off. I was expecting it to be nice and warm, it was not. 35 and very windy.

Circuit of the Americas is a great track. We got the cars dialed in and felt we had some thing for the field. We had Vesko Kozarov and Lara Tallman piloting the 33 car and Mickey Miller and Bret Spaude piloting the 34.
The race started out great with both cars moving up thru the field. Mickey got the 34 up to 4th and stayed there for the majority on his stint. We were running a aggressive pit strategy for the 33 as we had in Daytona and pitted Lara at around 20 mins for a driver change and fuel. Vesko got in and got out there working his way back up. We caught a yellow which stacked the field back up and allowed our strategy to play out. Once going back green Vesko reported that the passenger side axle was letting go. He maintained race leaders pace as long as he could. The 34 was doing great but a miscalculation threw off our strategy for the car we pitted Mickey and got Bret in. He rejoined the race in 22 I believe and had a lot of work to do. We got a caution around 55 mins and when he 33 got the wave by when trying to catch the back of the pack the axle let go completely ending Vesko's race. Bret worked hard and drove a great race finishing in 16th.

Cars are on he way back to Salt Lake for prep. Barber Motorsports park is up next!

I saw in the race results that the #33 had only completed 37 laps and was wondering what happened. Glad to see that it wasn't a crash! It looks like the cars were running pretty good times though. Good luck at Barber!

For anyone who wants to watch, the race will air on 3/9 at 4:00 PM ET on the SPEED channel.

New series, new TV channel, same Altima coupe racers. The first Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge race of the 2014 season is at Daytona; it will air on Friday, Jan. 24 on FOX Sports 2 starting at 6:00 p.m. ET. (Does anybody actually get FOX Sports 2? ...I miss the SPEED network.)

I hope they can get a couple of wins this season. :luck: More at about race weekend TV coverage at http://www.imsa.com/articles/tune-rolex-24-daytona.
