Ok this is going to be a long one.

It started last september when I get a viper alarm installed and the shop also attempted the remote start install. They failed on the remote start install and hot wired the car and took it to the dealership to get the keys reprogramed. I never had a problem with the car since than. Well a few weeks ago the car stopped starting. I took it to nissan and they said someone installed a relay under the hood to power up the bcm. They wanted like 1500$ to replace the main harness and EFI harness plus 10 hrs of labor.

I did not have that much money and had the car towed to my friends shop. He looked at it and fixed the harness for not much money at all and the car still doesn't start. So I called this shop that originally did this install and he told me to give him the shops phone number. He told my friend (the shop owner) that he had shorted out the fusebox and the relay was to power the fusebox up. So today he replaced the fusebox and said everything is working normally except the engine doesnt start. The car now recognizes a key and powers on but the engine does not turn on.

Are there any things I need to program? maybe it is not recognizing that I am pushing on the break and thats why it starts?

Well this is why I don't like aftermarket alarms on 2000 up cars. This is going to get a little sticky. I think you need to go to the shop that tried to install the system and created this nightmare. They need to fix the harness! This means they should have to install a new harness. You are only going to have more problems from this point on if it's not fixed. I don't know if they have a tech with the experience to fix your car. I am a shop owner and I would never let a tech rig a relay to cover up his negligence. Your car needs to be put back like it was before they molested it.
