Hello all. I've decided to make a youtube web page dedicated to the Altima Coupe. Mostly I want it to be a FAQ thing for people who are new to Nissan and maybe don't know all the little secrets to working the car's fancy features. I hope to make it a little more exciting than the DVD the car came with, lol.

PLUS I'd like to have your videos of your Coupe to post on the site.

Also, I'm thinking about making a slide show of the coupe and if you want your coupe in the slide show, let me know and send me a link to your pics.

Also, I don't have the NAV system, and it would be cool if someone could make some tutorial videos if possible.

Also, is it cool if I add a link to this site on the youtube page?

Check out the youtube page here: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=altimacoupe

I'm still working on videos, hopefully I'll have a few up within a few weeks.

Thanks all,

Dave

EDIT: hmm...instead I might just do one big feature video...only showing fancy features of the car... not sure yet how I feel about it yet...

"fancy little features?" like how to start the car? give me a break!. It is not brain surgury.

what's next, a video on how to use the gear shift? or turn the radio on? how to read the speedometer? or how to open the glove box?

Duh!

I think its a good idea. If anything, it'll give us A/C enthusiasts (who are still waiting to take delivery of our cars) something else to read/view while we wait!!

Plastics: did you notice yesterday there was an A/C owner on NICO that didn't know about the 2 DC outlets?!?!?

Oh, for some people on here there should be video titled "RTFM". No offense to the rest but in less time that it takes to type the question you could find the answer in the manual.

We are here to collaborate, collect and share information about our vehicles. This happens to be a good way to do so. I like his ideas. Sounds like your insulted about your more in depth knowledge of the car. No reason to hassle.

Those are oblivious things. Compared to my old car, this car has so much more. My dealer took the time to show me how the car works and even set up my bluetooth connection for me. Could I have figured all that stuff out by reading the manual, yes. Can everyone do the same, no. I let my cousin drive my car. Did he know how to start it correctly the first time? No. What about a 15 year old kid who somehow (luckily) acquired a A/C as his first car. I digress...

A majority of people do not read their owners manuals or misinterpret the information stated. Sometimes it feels like I'm reading an ACT problem when I read the car's manual. I agree, it is faster to read the manual than to ask someone. While the manual provides detailed instructions on various things...sometimes it helps when someone shows you.

I admit, I read my manual cover to cover...do I remember everything...no.

To each their own.

Why make your own video's? Nissan already has video's on how to operate everything in the car. Everybody's coupe should have come with a DVD titles "Electronic Quick Reference Guide" and it is very detailed from how to start the car to operate the defrosters to how to fart rigth in the drivers seat.

A personal video is more of just showing off camera/editing skills and e-pen15 for their coupe.

You want an instructional video on youtube, then upload the quick reference guide with a disclaimer
