Altima coupe has the worst design for ABS...or so i believe

The clunk sound right when u start moving ur car...the LOUDEST abs kick in noise ive ever heard when sliding...

Is it me or is nissan cheaping out on there ABS? I find the abs noise to be the worst part of the car, making me start to dislike it...just a lil

I am goin to call nissan canada and complain to them about their ABS

also i heard the older altimas have a even worse noise (loudER)

well anyone have any input or ways to quiet down this beast?

I just read ur last post about u goin to teh dealer... i DID THE EXACT SAME THING 1 week after i got my car... the service manager tried to kick me out, since they say its "NORMAL" wtf? is normal?

A ****en CIVIC cost 20 some grand does not have ABS "NORMAL" sounds while a 40grand altima has the crappiest noise ever

When i hear that noise, i kinda wanna just pay less and go with a civic....

i do not like their design for the abs if this is considered normal...if they say its a factory defect for all cars, and would not be fixed...i would be a lil mmore "happy" since it does kinda sound like a defect and is not normal

Go ahead and complain, it won't change. My 2003 infiniti G35 did it too. It is not a defect, it is just a part of the design.

There is no indication that this is cheap. You may not like it, which is fine, but come on, to let that out of other possible things to make you not want your car.

I had an 06 Civic SI and have both an 08 Altima Coupe 3.5SE and an 04 Accord Coupe and the brakes on the Altima are better than either of them. Even in the test on Edmunds, the brakes on the Altima were fade free, whereas the 08 Accord were terrible and the ABS would not even activate due to the fading.
