I never said the Tc was ugly, but why do you wanna make you A/C look like another car? Its fine if you like it, but its not for me and I wouldn't pay to make my car look more like a Tc.

then please, by all means, make some photoshops, too. I'd like to see what you want.

And if you don't know how, take a piece of paper and a pen and draw something, then scan it.

If I were to draw or chop one (I can't do either very well at all), it would look like the first chop of the black mesh one with the blacked out chrome mustache and a bridged gap. However, I would add some type of badging, not sure what though.

Depnds on the amount of work that goes into it. I bought anotherstock grille for this project & he might use it to do the kind I want.

Yesterday thou he said he might not even need that second oneto fabricate this prototype. I've been friends with him for 5 yearsnow, worked for him, used to be his web designer & manage his 2 myspaces so I'm sure it will be a fair price, no worries.

I personally would like to see an infiniti style grill. Something with horizontal chrome, no more than 4-5 bars. The 2nd stillen one is my favorite of the ones shown.

Ed (The owner) is taking a look at the photochops...He says the sport concepts are possible but not plausable because it would be a hard installation / only looks good because in the photochop it's molded in and fluid. He likes the first one (black mesh grille on the black coupe) and is thinking something similar to stillen's grille (black bars)...He said that something like this would be no problem to make and is trying to figure out the best way to make the installation clean and easy for the DIY'ers and the actual grille cost-effective. A prototype should be made pretty soon (my car being the guinea pig) and Razah's OEM style but hamburgerless grille should be done this week. We will post pics as soon as we can and I'll make sure to keep you guys updated!

Cheers,Ksong

It is really easy to take off the grill. It took me about 15 minutes and that was taking my time to figure it out. undo the black clips along the top. then you can see the latches that are part of the grille. U just lift those up one by one and push it out a bit and then the whole thing pops out. hope it helps, sorry it is kind of hard to explain for me since i do not know what everything is called.

I have to say, I feel very loyal to Stillen for their immediate support for our community but someone needs to jump on being first to market with a nice grill. So if they get one out first, more power to them. If nothing else, hopefully this thread will light a fire under some R&D departments a$$'s because we all know the first company to come out with a nice grill is going to rake in some immediate $$$.....
Hey Brian,

Thank you very much for your loyalty and I assure you that we are going to begin this project this week. Obviously there is a huge demand for this part and we are going to run with it.

It will take a few weeks to make the parts and molds but I should have more information in a month or two.

Thanks,

Kyle

This is great news. Honestly now that I know there are a few companies out there with this part on top of their priority list, I don't think I'm going to jump on the first one to market (even though getting rid of the oem grill was the top thing on my mods list even before I bought the car). Now it's just time to be patient and wait to see who comes out with the best product. However, I have a feeling I know who that will be...

thread jack kyle? OH COME ON! you have your own thread! lol I'm just kidding...But I'm glad that there's some competition developing between Golden Customs and Stillen - finally two reputable shops with experience making grilles for us guys and in full speed too. What's better than that? I won't take sides but I can vouch for the quality work of both so this is going to be interesting...This is what we've waited for guys!
