Hey, got a question about the engine. The engine sounds great, but it seems that it should be putting much more power to the wheels while accelerating. I do not know much about cars, but it seems that power is just not getting to the ground like it should, like its getting lost somewhere, like I said though the engine/car runs great, just seems that it should have more EEMMFFF. I'm getting the dealership to rotate the tires next weekend, I'm thinkin about getting them to hook it up to the computer to make sure everything is good, but any input from you guys would be appreciated. Thanks

Try turning it off; may do what you're looking for, but it's not clear when and how you're trying to get the power.

Lose weight. Cars these days are so bulky.

Like they said turn traction Control off unfortunatly you have to do it every time you turn the car on :frown: And drive in manuel mode if you have cvt...... last but not least slam your foot the ground Im pretty sure you will feel something :) :)

Do you have any mods?
Get Ypiping, exhaust and intake then do some work on kids :chuckle:

I like where this thread is now going :naughty: . Thanks for your input guys, I'll play with it some more, I do have a Y pipe, intake and exhaust, maybe its the exhaust throwing me off by it's sound, dunno. Also how bad will humidity mess with the power? Yesterday was a sticky Matt's hotel ro . . . nevermind.

im really starting to hate the low end power of the car like before 4 1/2 rpm. I think it might be because of the y-pipe but it seems so much slower now. Im also curious what it can be because it felt so much better the first 1-6 months i had the car. =/

its summer time now, so cars are slower. humidity is good for combustion. it is the heat that is making the car slower. come summer time, i baby the car... no point in punching it now... so sad
