I have a 2008 A/C 2.5s. My seat belt wont retract.

i tug on it and i hear a noise but not a clicking noise or springs. this has happen once before, but it fixed itself on a long drive.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? i have a call into the stealership.

Maybe you're just getting fat Danny and the constant tension on the internal springs caused it to break

Thanx Darryl... That was a serious post, i could have gotten hurt.

I tried yanking it and jiggling it, nothing worked. My dad drove to my work opened my door jiggled it once and it retracted. i was like that is bs.

I had my seatbelt sensor break and the seat belt light stayed on. took it to the dealership and they ordered a seat belt kit and fixed my problem. Mention it to the dealership

seat belts and the tensioner are covered under warranty as long as you didn't cut it or something. its a safety issue so they usually cover it no matter what and for much longer than you'd think. I had my tensioner replaced under warranty on my 15 year old civic
