Altima Coupe Driver's Seat

The power driver seat in my car feels loose. When I accelerate it feels like it kinda leans back a little. When I brake it feels like it leans forward a little. Then I kinda rocked in it and it does lean forward and back a bit.

I'm just wondering if mine is loose or something? Does anyone else's seat do that??

I have the exact same problem i have a appointment at my dealer monday morning i will ask them if they can fix that i will come back to you on that

I don't notice anything like this but I'll check it out next time I drive. I had a similar problem in my 2004 Spec-V when I had it.

I'm sure its an easy fix. Don't fret!

Doesnt look like there is a TSB or Recall on it yet. I would contact your Nissan Dealer and have them fix the problem, since your car is probably under warranty. I think that the seat shifting could be a problem down the road if not fixed. My Subaru had a problem with the reclining feature and I felt like it could fall backwards which would be terrible if I were driving.

Did the shop find anything to fix the coupe drivers seat.

I am having the same problem as well and it really bugs me.

I have the same problem as well, i live down here in Mexico, and i also feel the seat move rock fwd when y hit the breaks....

actually imy seat kinda creaks when i lean back on it, and its very freakin annoying! It sounds like some old door that needs oiling....

Well, mine 3.5 SE Premium has a hint of loose driver seat. I took it to the dealer to look at and they admit that there was some looseness , but claim it is the same as the news ones they have in stock.

They really don't know how to fix it but will consult with Nissan.

It seems from this post that this is not an uncommon problem ..hopefully Nissan will put out a service bullintin.

hello everyone, my car just started having this problem recently. I had taken it to the dealer a couple of weeks ago for service and noticed the exact problem everyone is having when I got it back. Never did have the problem before...

anyone know if there has been a resolution to the issue? How bout the guys that posted here above me, what did you end up doing?

yup mine does it too!!!! the creaking and the moving!!! so yeah i'm gonna call my nissan on monday and get an appt. and i have some kinda squeaky noise in the front like by the radio or something that i'm going to have them check out. it only does it when i hit bumps.

CHECK UR SEAT BELT... ITS USUALLY THE SEAT BELT MAKING THE SQUEEK, realized this 2 weeks ago, its not the chair itself. The seat belt pully inside the door panel. During colder temps, its squeekier...trust me

nope i checked that and actually when i first noticed it i wasnt even buckled up....definately the seat back.
