I'm no drifting expert but I suspect that there is no difference. The mechanics is the same. You approach your entry point kind fast to build momentum and sharply turn your steering wheel into the turn and use your e-brake to carry that momentum through the turn while counter steering. In RWD drifting, the torque and speed is in the rear wheel. While going through the turn you apply the e-brake to swing the weight of the car around the turn but with fancy clutch/e-brake coordination you control that swinging action.

With FWD, it's basically the same but all of the torque and drive is in the front wheel. The rear wheel basically is going along for the ride...

to drift you need an uberpowerfull RWD car to powerdrift or you need to be at high speeds and then you can clutch drift of powerdrift using a Scandinavian flick.

fwd drift can be done by arab drifting (pendulum drifting) go check youtube for arab drifters.you can also liftoff oversteer to drift a fwd car. for that you need to have an uber stiff rear sway bar.

another way is to use e brakei think thats a good learning point from what I remember for new peoplejust a word thoughyou'll automatically be at a disadvantage since your a fwdlike the earlier postall our power gets to the pavement in the front so not only is the front controlling direction, its also controlling the powerbut do it! it'd be neator good rwd conversion!

I am BY FAR no drifting expert, but after my Stillen Rear sway bar, I did accidentally drift part of an on ramp when I hit it going about 70+ mph...... not something I plan on doing again!

FF Drifting has always been a debate. For FF, sliding around is more referenced as "a** Dragging" since the car would be sideways, but the rear ends do nothing in keeping the car sideways.

To allow an FF car to go sideways, proper weight shifting on a FR car can still be done with an FF, the only problem is holding a drift, since there isn't power coming from the rear wheels. Continuously pulling the e-brake and locking up the rear tires will allow you to keep the rear end sliding, and proper braking, throttle and steering control will allow you to hold the power required to continue sliding. Look at the following video as an example:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFUegaEibwE

Now keep in mind , the drifting seen in the video and the drift techniques mentioned by mcheddadi are for show drifitng.

I believe that FF's can drift in the form of race drift, where letting the car slide slightly allows for a more open throttle when going around certain corners, and in the sense of FF cars, it compensates for the understeer that FF cars normally experience.

As for videos of drifiting the Altima, I would love to go out and try to slide around my Altima, but I would not want to risk ruining a car that practically brand new to me. I'll save my drifting needs for my MR2.
