Hey, this is my first post on these forums, so sorry if i'm asking a question thats already been asked but here it goes.

I'm buying a new Altima Coupe within the next couple weeks. I have two questions.

1. Is there a major difference between the 08 and 09's?

2. I'm debating between getting Black/Dark Slate/Red/Blue, what are your opinions on the best color, i know its different for each person, but i'm just curious. I've heard that the black gets really dirty, so its kinda annoying. I've also heard that the shade of Red is kinda girly (no offense to anyone, and never seen it in person so i have no opinion on that). Of the four, what is your favorite? Thanks.

Out of those four, I would choose black or dark slate

No significant changes between the 08 and 09.

While I agree with you, white looks fantastic, the OP never had that as an option

man those are some nice body kits and tires, i wish i could do that to mine when i get it, but i dunno its a tough choice the only thing really turning me off from the dark slate is the fact that i see so many cars in similar colors, as oppose to the red and blue which are more unique.

That is true. I like dark slate because of the fact a lot of people have the color. Helps me blend in with the general populous when it comes to highway 5-0

you should probably get precision grey.

the only real difference from 08 to 09 is the fact that the 09 has 18" wheels and real tires.

No way you're blending with anything with your body kits plus blowoff valve sound lol

about the black, does it really get dirty and difficult to keep clean?

and the dark slate, its a similar color, is that also difficult to keep up with, or does the dark slate stay cleaner?

o, and any pictures of your cars in any color would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

well all colors get dirty equally. but as for the black yes it shows dirt, is it as bad as the majority of the people on the forum will tell you, no its not.

the black though looks incredible when its clean, so if you clean it at least once a week it will be just fine.

my only hold back on the dark slate would be exactly what A2G said and that is that a lot of people do have that color, and it does blend in a little too much.

The blue is hot, it was the original color i wanted, it just wasnt avaibable in my area when i bought mine.

the red is the color my wife wanted, and i agree that the red is a little feminine.

as for the difference between the 08's and 09's , besides resale, if you are like me and slow... very slow to mod the car, id get the 09 because the 18's on it are sexy.

ya thats the major thing thats stopping me from getting dark slate is that its so common.

it might end up being whatever the dealer has on the lot when i buy the car of the four anyway, but i dunno about the 09's b/c if the only difference is the tires, and i can get a much sweeter deal on the 08's i'm thinking that might just be a better idea.

o and by the way i'll be getting the 2.5S so i don't think i'd get the 18's would i?

I don't think you would get 18's with that, if you can afford it, get the 3.5. Its alot more fun and the gas milage isnt much different. It is worth the extra money to get the 3.5

Get white, its got a more sophisticated look to it.Black- Is to hard to keep clean (but looks amazing when it is clean)Grey- Looks good, but there are way to many of them on the roadBlue- would be my second choice, its unique and looks really good.

Hear is my white 3.5

With more mods on the way

i definitely don't think the 3.5 is possible. i mean my parents are paying for part of the car and i don't think they're willing to pay for that much.

about the colors, i mean i feel like there are so many of all 3 of the black grey and white out there, not just on the altima's but on all cars, but with how good the precision grey and dark slate look on the a/c its hard not to get them, especially cuz how much dirt shows on the black.

and the only reason i'd get the blue is b/c of how many grey's/dark slates there are.

I made a comparison image a long time ago when I was choosing which color I wanted :

Blue V.S. Dark Slate

LOL, that's not even close to a fair picture. The dark slate is in a tree's shade, and the blue one is on a waterfront

haha well other than that, i think i like the blue better, at least in the pic, its not as bright as like on nissan's site, but better than i remember in person too. either way though they're both like ridiculously amazing, red ain't too bad too. but wow, the blue and dark slate...awesome.

input and pictures still would be very much appreciated, thanks.
