to tell you the truth, rsx-s isnt slow, they are over-rated, my buddy did 0-60 stock 5.9 seconds wheel hop, if you launch it correctly and shift correctly it does stock 5.9 or even quicker. depends on the driver, it depends man if ur running stock and if ur auto then its a good race, weight difference, 2800, and 3200, both front wheel drive, if ur altima was rwd (which they dont make) then it would win for sure. 6 speed fwd will win

Well it depends on how modded his RSX-S is

I recently about 2 weeks ago raced one from a roll an form a stop, but his car was heavily modded, he had I/H/E/Kpro tune/ built head/cams and pulleys/ and he stripped the inside lol he only had two seats.

From a 40 roll he got the jump and I couldn't reel him in, won by a carfrom a dead stop I had a car on him the whole time from 0-95 then he started catching up. Mind you my car isnt stock either

hope this helped good luck and take it to the track bro

6-speed manual05 rsx-s - STOCK (1 passenger so 2 people total in car)

automatic (used triptronic downshift)08 altima coupe 3.5 CVT - injen SRI - (2 passenger so 3 people total in car)

roll - 50, went all the way up to 90 something

started at 50, if i can remember, altima was ahead by 1/3 of car, i was at his door. then i caught up when i hit 6500rpm. started pulling about 2 cars on him. yupp beat it, i guess rsx-s is just lighter then the altima coupe 3.5. also depends on the driver. nothing to brag about, its a stock 2.0 rsx-s, just letting u know what happen. cvt is alright, keeps u at 6,000rpm through out the whole race if u leave it in D, but if u down shift in triptronic that thats different.

rsx-s stock - 210hpaltima coupe 3.5 stock - 270hp, he only had an intake so yeah no much difference except like 5 hp?

estimate weightrsx-s 6 SPEED MANUAL- 2800lbs - um 2 people in car. 1 was 200, and other was 150 so 350 on top of 2800 = 3150lbs

altima coupe CVT 3.5 AUTO CVT - 3200lbs um 3 people in car. 1 was 200, 2nd was like 150, other was like 150? so 3700lbs

so i guess his car was heavy? i was driving rsx-s, my other friend was driving my friends altima coupe 3.5 cvt automatic

was a good race.

i mean dont get me wrong, altima coupe 3.5 is a nice car, comes with alot of options, but its just not as fast as g35 or 350z,

a g35 or 350z manual 6-speed would rap rsx-s anyday,

got a couple buddys with rsx-s that raced automatic g35 and kept up, didnt kill it but kept up by half a car

all 3.5 V6altima coupe FWD 270hp g35 coupe RWD 298hp manual350z RWD 306 manual

What's up with the random racing talk in the exterior section?

And what's up with the RSX love fest going on lately?
