Well, first off, help her breathe (intake + full exhaust). I would research around at what other Altima coupe people have done to get a little more power.

If you just got the the car in the last couple weeks, take it back and get the 3.5.

I mean im not looking to challenge GTR's or Corvettes lOl but I would like to keep up with my friends when horsing around on the highway G35's mostly stock and RSX minor mods exhaust suspensions get where im aiming for.

I have a 2006 Mazda 6 with 110,000 miles on it... you're not going to want to swap a motor in a car that new. You can turbocharge it, supercharge it, or just take some measures in the NA direction.

1. Air Intake
2. BullyDog Powerpup / GT Tuner
3. Header
4. Full cat back exhaust

Yeah, NA is Natural Aspiration which means no forced induction, or boost.

good to see that my post with the link to the parts page was deleted. i'm guessing one of the mods didn't like my search suggestion?
altima-coupe-parts-accessories-t280490.html

stay away from an engine swap unless you have gross amounts of money to spend on custom fabrication. if anything, upgrade to the 3.5 engine, but even then that won't exactly be a fun swap.

i think that won't work unless its a vq35 out of an altima coupe, our engine bay is so much more compact than the other vq35 platforms, like the g35 and 350z, that the a/c's engine had to be modified to fit in the smaller space. but if anyone has more knowledge than this on me, please chip in

You need to make sure you can get it to pass inspection first. Because law states that engine swaps must be to a same year or newer engine that meets of exceeds the emissions standards set by the original motor. Since you have a 2010 altima, you're going to have more trouble getting it to pass. It can be done though.

Did you just refer to yourself in the 3rd person wtf!

There are no kits for the 2007 plus altimas. i have a turbonetics turbo. I say contact a tuner shop and see what they can build for you. Dont expect to pay any less than 7,000 bucks

yea I guess I just had an out of body experience ;) well I know it wont be a cheap project "like" I was really thinking of doing an engine swap believe me we are talking monayyyyyyyy here!!! Im no rich kid but im only 21 with no bills besides my monthly car payment and gas I dont even pay for my own insurance so I'd say I have it pretty good. I do work for my money, very hard and try to save most of it except when my only weakness the females are around..... but back to car talk yes I do take into consideration the price tag thats fine im just making a list of things to do. Obviously turbo would probably be last ....so far I put tints on first, then 6k HIDs, then my pioneer navi, next will be in this order: stillen roof wing, konig wheels, nismo catback, pro kit springs, short ram intake, TURBO and...... im not sure if I really want to do the lambo doors quite yet im debating whether it would look too ghetto get me I want my car to look clean cut but doors that go up is pretty cool

If you want to do lambo doors i'll sell you my kit, in box with all hardware for $500 shipped ($1000 retail). I fitted the passenger side but got lazy and didnt finish it and took it off. Not my thing. Let me know. Would be shipping insured and I take PayPal.

Yep. Even has the instructions papers lol. If they dont sell I'm going to do them again anyways I think. The doors still open normally with this kit but it just gives you the ability to put them up if you wish. They dont have to always open like a bird all the time lol.
