ALTIMA CIGARETTE LIGHTER/CHANGE DRAWER

I put a bunch of change in that little slot where the change or trash goes next to the cigarette lighter. Next thing i know...i cant open the damn thing anymore...anyone have any idea how to fix this problem without breaking it?

are you talking about the middle one where you can rest your right hand on? if that one, then to lift just the top part, you'd pull up on the left lever (closest to you) otherwise if you pull on the right one it will lift the whole thing up. Is that the prob you have?

Maybe loose change is jamming up the release lever? Try opening the big compartment and moving the lid back and forth---this might dislodge any stuck coins?

yeah, just completely freak out and starting bashing the thing. if you break the clip it's only about a 4 dollars fix from the nissan parts shop.

no im not talking about the center console for the armrest...i meant right under the cd changer under the navigation. Theres a thing you push and it opens, you push it back and it will close...its stuck closed because i think there are coins jamming it...any ideas?

oh, try sliding a credit card under there and pop the coins up
