Altima and Maxima

hi everyone

I was wondring If the maxima 2004 have the same spare parts of the 2004 altima . parts like suspensions , brakes , pullys and bilts , fule systems and anything replaceble .

While there might be some interchangable parts here and there, they are pretty much 2 different cars...you aren't going to find a whole lot of swappable items out of the box.

Could you be more specific in what you are looking at?

Agreed...they are different sizes...different weights...different everything. While you may be able to throw the same gas cap on both cars, they aren't going to share the part more then 10-20% of the time.

They may share some parts if the Altima has the 3.5 but for the most part the car is very much different.

in saudi arabia we dont have maxima like yours but we have cefiro named maxima .

and we have altima 2004 and 2008 sedan/coupe .

I imported maxima 2004 like yours and I know that there is no spare parts for it . now where can i git them? the dealer told my that spare parts from altima 2008 or 2009 might fit . and I dont know is that right or wrong .

I am looking for suspentions , brakes pads , muscles , axeles and any thing can fit on my car

Find a website with a lot of parts listed with Part numbers. Find the part on the list for the 2004 Maxima, then flop over to the 2008 Altima list, and see if they share part numbers!

If they don't...then you could try to compair part sizes...(dimensions)

And if you can't find that...there is always trial and error, but that might be a bit costly.

You should look at parts for 2002-2006 Altima 3.5s, your max is the same basic platform as Altimas from that generation.

The 2007 and up Altima are very different from an 04 max, new engine, platform, etc, and I don't think they would share many, if any, parts.
