I never check out the 2002-2003 boards on altimas.net so I wouldn't know if there is a turbo 3.5 or not. I bet there is by now, but as I said I wouldn't know...I guess that is because I dont drive one. Nothing against them of course.

yea i know of talks about it, there was a poll on altimas.net for a shop to possibly develop a supercharger for the qr25, but im not too sure about the 3.5, also, GReddy makes a turbo kit for the 350z and that would fit the altima as well wouldnt it??

I'm sure someone will eventually make a kit for the altima 3.5se. Since altimas are generally not supported that well int he aftermarket it will obviously take time

you have good points, i wonder if the 35o's twin turbo set up (from GREDDY) could be custom fabricated to fit the vq altima?

I doubt it because the 350z is RWD and the Altima is FWD.I have herd about a turbo kit for the 3.5se Altima.

One thing that we have to realize is the vast majority of things that happen like this are tuners that like to play. I bet someone has done this already but most people dont come on forums. If you think about it, a guy that is good with a welder and knows a thing or 2 about cars could easily build a turbo kit. Turbos are simple.

Why not just Stillen supercharge it? On a V-6, superchargers would probably be more beneficial than a turbo.

No one has a running turbo 3.5se yet. Greddy just came out with the system for the 350z and it probably is barely availible now. No FWD versions of this kit have been fabricated, but I'm either greddy or stillen will come out with a kit in time. Either way, your talking about 8 grand in modifications.

go check altimas.net, there is a 391 hp QR25 engine with 20# of boost out (in a spec V but the kit is close enough to adapt)

would this happen to be the black spec V (the owner is from canada i believe, but his car was sent down to the states to have the work done at a shop)? if so ive seen it around here once or twice, and that thing is supposed to be the only fullybuilt and turbo'd QR in the 'world' (alteast thats what the shop owner said) and it is crazy fast

I seriously doubt its the only one. Nissan made the spec to be tuned. There has to be more fully built ones out there we don't know about. Interesting to see that 3.5 se turbo. I wonder what kinda times that thing puts down.

i doubt its the only one as well, its just what the guy said. And i bet if the Altima would put the rubber down on teh ground quick enough and not spin its *** off, it would run insaley quick

he's got a twin plate 6puck clutch, the tires just let go once he hits boost, even in 2nd and 3rd gear
