Hi

I have a 2002 Altima 2.5 and it is hard to start on cold weather, first try it runs then stalls second try or third try runs a little rough and then normal (this only happens in the morning). Checked the codes and sometimes i get 0302 or 0300. also have some coolant level drop, been reading some posts and it might be the head gasket since I haven't spotted any coolant leaks, checked oil and it doesn't look milky. What do you think?

Thank you

0302 is cylinder 2 misfire and 0300 is random misfire. Try swapping the coil pack with one from another cylinder and see if the 0302 code follows it.

Thanks but I already decided to replace the head gasket but I'm stuck and need some advice.
Can't remove timing chain cover, already took off the oil pan and removed 3 bolts that I think that hold the cover to the upper oil pan but still can't remove it. Manual says that I need to remove upper oil pan meaning that I need to remove half of the front suspension is this true or there is another way? I though that if I removed both cam sprockets and cam bracket I would get the head off without taking off the timing chain cover but I couldn't take off the intake cam sprocket even tried an impact gun.

Thank you
