I need to replace my speed sensor (code P0500) but there are some big differences on price that I've found. Some are $30 and others are $130. I've searched some sites but I can't pin down exactly what I need. Trying to save as much money as possible. Thanks.

$130 seems excessively high. Go to https://www.nissanpartsdeal.com/ and enter your VIN to pull up the correct parts for your vehicle. Along with that they list the MSRP, and their discount price. You can compare that against http://www.courtesyparts.com/ or http://www.rockauto.com/

Thanks a lot. I found it for much less online. The way I understand it, each wheel has a sensor and sometimes all you need to do is clean up the connection from any dust or debris. But I also understand that the car has 2 "speed sensors" - one in the back and one in the front and the part I bought is one of those. And they are a pain to get to. Am I on the right track?

Sounds like you are on the right track. In my nearly 40 years of driving vehicles, I've never encountered this problem, so I'm afraid I won't be of much assistance. BTW, have you looked through the FSM for your vehicle? If not, there's a link in my sig line that takes you to the main page for the FSMs.
