Just got my altima and I would like to do some performance mods along with exterior mod. Can I get some suggestions please on what you have used on yours and what works the best. It's a 2013 2.5s coupe. Completely stock. Thanks.

Well I have a 2010 altima coupe 2.5s and with a manual transmission, first thing I did was tint my windows, and got new montegi rims, and overall I'm in love with my car. I suggest for you to focus on the looks first then go for performance, btw I recently installed a top speed exhaust and love the sound of it, very nice deep rumble. I noticed a difference in power, probably got like 5 hp from it, and that's all I've done to my car.

Alright, that sounds good. But what kind of rumble? Like muscle car rumble or like rice rocket rumble? Also where did you get your exhaust from? Local shop or website?

Would also recommend going for aesthetics before performance on a 2.5. I'll be removing and selling the top speed exhaust in the next couple of weeks, let me know if you're interested. It definitely has a presence, it might be a tad bit loud but not in a rice kind of way. Here's a video that Alex M. made demonstrating the exhaust:

I would recommend springs/coils first. Makes the car look and drive so much better. Then rims and exhaust. I also have an intake which does add a nice touch but not as significant as the other mods.... If you had a 6speed I would have recommended the short throw kit its amazing! Most of these parts IMO made the car significantly more fun to drive.

If you are going for aesthetics, I would suggest window tint, HID (if yours didn't come with them stock), and a 5$ can of plastidip to black out the chrome grill (totally changes the front of the car)...

Happy modding!
