Wow. I looked for a long while and didn't see a post on my Head Gasket issue But I did finally find the New Post Button thankfully. Pardon me if this is the wrong forum but I will start here. Fairly simple question.

Is it possible for me a highly experienced X Mechanic to short cut the 2005 Altima Head Gasket Job and eliminate the need to pull the Oil Pans and possibly even the lower timing cover ?

Back in the day haha 1987 to 1999, we used to wedge a piece of wood near the timing chain and disallow any slack to occur and then go aheas and remove the cam gear or gears and then remove the head. Its a long haul to tear down the whole timing side and the oil pans. Not as young as I used to be but still Game if I can do most of it from the top !! Thanks for the advice.
