So I had some problems with trying to figure out if I had my transmission in right. Thanks goes out to everyone who helped. I did have it in right and she runs fine. So now I am trying to get everything repaired and it all starts with my alternator. I got my second new alternator and its not charging my battery. So i figure its my alternator wiring harness. Can anyone please tell me a good place to get a wiring harness for my alternator or if anyone has one they could sell me that would be really cool. I need my baby back on the road so if you could help please do so thanks.

You really need to find out if your alternator is putting out a charge. Its not unheard of for a new part to be faulty. It might also be your battey. Not sure if your wire harness would be at fault, unless its damaged.

get some 4 gauge wire and run it from the battery to the alternator.

reference your FSM to see if your alternator is getting a "flash" on startup, i had the same problem after a battery died on me, i had to jumper from the now useless neutral saftey switch wire to my alternator in order for it to recieve a flash to begin charging, just a thought
