Alternator tensioner Interchangeability

Hello there, quick question that I wasn't able to find searching. I'm helping my friend put back together his 1990 Z32 non-turbo, and he seems to have lost the alternator tensioner/ adjustment bracket. I was searching for another on courtesy parts and noticed there is two different models: A bracket for 1990-1993 (which is not available anymore) and one for 1994-1996. Is there any significant difference, or does anyone know if it will work? Thank you!

I don't know the answer to your question, but I would guess they are not interchangeable. However, I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't other Nissan models that have a workable bracket.

I don't know the answer to your question either.

Look where it says "versions". It says the alternators will work regardless of year and aspiration. It doesn't mention the tensioner though.

I do have a used tensioner from a 91 I can send to you. Just PM me.

Hmm. I might take you up on that, sir. I think I'll order a late model bracket as well to see if they will work, so we might add it to the Z32 interchangeability thread haha.
