i was wondering, my ex has a 90 stanza and it has the same engine as my 90 240, i think i need a new alternator and was looking at http://www.autozone.com and it would cost me 150 for the one listed under 240 and the one listed under the stanza was only 90. are they the same or dose one have a difernt bolt patern or something the both have the same 80 amp. just wanted to save a buck. THX in ahead of time

call and ask for the part numbers, and see if they are different. Same engine does not mean same setup always, however should be pretty damn close.

if the internals are different it may not work meaning the wiring to the plug could be reversed from one another.
