Not very detailed but:
0. Lift the car and put it on jack-stands or use ramps, you need access from the bottom.
1. disconnect battery (very important)
2. drain radiator
3. remove rad fan
4. remove rad
5. loosen tensioner bolt
6. remove belt
7. remove alternator bolt (bolt that holds alt to bracket)
8. pull out enough to see wires in back and remove those (make sure to mark where they go, there are multiple wires)
9. take alternator out through the bottom of the car.

Install new alt in reverse order.

I simply unbolt my sway bar, swing it out of the way, remove the alternator bracket, tensioner bolt, top mounting bolt and pull it out. Takes a lot less time. Of course, follow step 1 and 2 above, continue with 8.

Very detailed post of how to replace your alternator... The bolt portion (last part) really sucked for me... I wish I had a trick to share on how to put this back together but I don't.

Hope this helps.
