I'm posting some of my more recent projects....

I replaced the (most likely original) alternator in Sept 2010 with the 94Q, having 220k miles at the time. I do recall some intermittent strangeness with the display (TCS warning lights or something) for a few weeks prior to it not starting. It wasn't the most fun job and it's probably a good idea to disconnect the battery so as to not scare the crap out of one self when the positive wire rubs against some metal. Replaced with one from IOS ($270 with $35 core return) and she's been fine since...

Congratulations Stvo! That's quite a job in my book.

Sometimes you just gotta do a replacement.

Thanks! The car is nothing fancy, so the outside doesn't get the same attention. Having bought this car for a great price 7 years ago, I have been very impressed with the quality of Nissan, not to mention the plethora of advice and support on this forum. I'm around Brian's neck-of-the-woods in TX.
