alternator removal

i don't have a fsm. need information on how to remove alternator on 2002 infiniti qx4

Haven't had to do this yet but it doesn't look to bad. My approach would be disconnect the battery and start taking stuff apart until I can get to the alternator. You will probably need an impact wrench to remove the alternator. Hope it was at least a little helpful.

Alternator is either on the front top or for pathfinders front bottom.Just remove 2 bolts on front and one behind it beside manifold so total 3 bolts, easy to replace or rebuild. New remans cost around $150, rebuild your alternator for $100. or go to junk yard and get one for $40 <not recommended>
