Ok guys, I searched the posts and havent seen this yet so if it is there I am sorry I missed it. After ALOT of reading from this forum and great advice, I added a sub box to my 08 Rogue SL, BTW really wasnt too difficult with the Bose setup. But anyhow, the amp I used was from my former vehicle, 06 dodge ram, and its pushing 1000 watts to my Alpine R10 inch. After all the years of adding subs to my vehicles, I have never had a 4 cylinder with such a small alternator. Long story short, does anyone know of a easy bolt on alternator that will provide me with the amps i need, I have thought about adding a Cap to the set up but dont think it will make that big of a difference, Im tired already of my amp cutting out on me with large loads. I do have a bass control knob setup but can only turn up half way before amp cuts off.

I guess I should rephrase the question, where can I get an upgrade that wont cost me $400 and up, and can a shop beef up my current alt.?

Here's an upgrade for less than $400...$385 :) : http://www.qualitypowerauto.com/catalog.php?item=358 Rogue's alternator is not small...it is 120A. When I had an audi a4 the alternator there was 80A and when it died I upgraded it for about $100 to 110A. Now for Rogue in this price range the alternator upgrade does not exist at this time.
