i gotta base zenki, and my alternator went out of it, i can pick up an SE model alternator for 40$ locally and save alot of time n money...but theyre 90amps when the base are 80amps and i know people upgrade their alternators to a larger amperage all the time, i just wanted to know if it would all work out fine for me to use the SE one on my base?

just have it bench tested before reinstalling that salvageyard part...

I did after buying a junker, only to find it failed on the diodes/regulator/and amp output tests....

oops, i mean the regulator was bad= if i had just installed that part, I woulda have a blown battery from excess overcharging.

so swing by to advance auto/napa/autozone,etc before doing the R&R job twice!
