i have a 97 q45 with a bad alt loking to see what other alt will work for this because autozone wants a arm and a leg for it. or does anyone on here have one for sale please let me know soon thanks for all the help

I wouldn't recommend anything other than OEM new - but that's surely more expensive than an Autozone replacement. You can check the price at http://www.everythinginfiniti.com

Your least expenisve (and probably next best) option might be to find a rebuilder somewhere in your town. Typically these places have been in business for about 50 years, and specialize in rebuilding starters and alternators.

Without the core, price difference between IoS ($307) and AutoZone ($273) is only @ $34. A electrical shop may be able to fix your alternator for $100, more or less depending on the parts to be replaced - usually the rectifiers.
