Alternator plug

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

I'm in the middle of changing my alternator, have taken all bolts and wires off the only thing left is the plug. After a good 15 min of trying to pry it off and breaking a couple pieces, it's still stuck. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?? I can still use it after I get it out thank God, I haven't destroyed it YET.
