One day, my car wouldnt start, so i bought a new battery.

I was able to drive my car for good 10 miles.

and then my car died out.

I thought it could be the alternator so I replaced the alternator.

after the alternator was installed, I was about to drive about 80 miles.

and my car just died out on the street, when I was driving.

Some people are telling me, I have shorts somewhere.

I mean battery leak or you know what i am talking about.

what do you think it is?

and how should I check the problems?

If it's your alternator you'll be able to drive for a good 2-3 hours during daytime without your car dying. At night it's shorter because your lights are on. Is your check engine light on? If it's on, go to the FAQ on this website and look for either the SOHC or DOHC FAQ for retrieving engine error codes depending on which engine you have. Follow those instructions and you'll figure out what your problem is. If your check engine light ISN'T on, then I can't help you because i'm not too fimiliar with electrical systems. To make sure your battery and alternator are good, start the car, run it for as long as you can, and record the battery voltage with the car OFF both before you turned the car on and after you turned it off. If it's lower after you turn it off, your alternator is no good.

If you are not blowing fuses, how could it be a short. check to see if you are getting spark fuel and air per this article.
