So after replacing my knock sensor my car wouldnt start.(We unplugged the battery) we tried jumping it and it started. After a while the rpms where really low and it died once.I replaced the Battery like 3 months ago and my guess is the alternator is too blame. My lights are low and when i turn the high beams on the rpms drop. Also my car doesn't have much power either,a single cam pulled on me...wtf.please help i searched and couldn't find anything similar.

Yep, sounds like an alternator to me. Happened to me a couple months back.

Did your car seem to have lack of power aswell?

once you replace your alternator you should replace your battery too. My alternator just went out and it took down the battery with it. the voltage was dropping when the head lights went on. now that i have a new battery no more voltage problems.

If you dint have proper power it will affect preformace.

Have you ever had a r/c car that was low on batteries? It didn't go as fast when it was fully charged.

so true, the alternator produces 14v of output and keeps the battery charged... so if you dont have a properly working alternator your battery is running the car by itself and cant get voltage back...

so your battery could go bad the first time running it w/ a bad alternator...
