Alternator ground wire location?

Hey guys, I'm working on a 97 240sx with an S13 SR20DET in it. The person who did the swap did a hack job on the wiring, so I ripped it all out and I am currently redoing the entire thing. I disconnected the ground wire from the alternator and from the chassis, but now I cant remember to which location the ground wire hooks up to on the chassis, or if its on the engine block??. If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be great. Thanks!

It doesnt matter, the chassis and engine are both negative.
