I got a 300ZX 90 mod NA, and i think my alternator is dying.
When the car is facing heavy eletrical load, the waterpump-belt is squeeling like hell..
Im sure it is the alternator belt since my A/C is in my garage and powersteering belt is off.
Anyway, i left the car at idle, turned on the heater on full speed, heat threads, stereo, power windows as well and the belt squeels.
Popped the hood and used a multimeter on the battery. (yes, i used ear protection...)
Alternator is charging 12.38V

After turning off everything of electric components, except head/rearlights and stereo, the alternator charged 14.25 volts..

This squeeling is happening even when i drive and do the same stuff listed above.. It even happens if i just turn heater on full when it rains.
Got a brand new 95AMP Hankook battery.
Alternator has neven been changed, so I guess it has over 120 000 miles on it.. Should i replace my alternator with a new rebuilt one?
