well i had my car sittin in the garage for a while.. .(2 month?) and i havent really moved it much.. just a few days ago i went and tried to start it up, but found out my battery is gone... no bid deal i went and grabed a jumper cable and tried to start it up... it doesnt start at all, the engine didnt even crank. all my electrical stuff are working ok (lights on, window rolls up and down.. dome light, cluster lights all work) but it just doesnt turn over... any ideas of what needs to be done?

Not the alternator. The alternator's not a factor if you're powering it from another car.

It could be your technique. A not-quite-dead battery draws some current recharging. Hook up the jumper cables and start the other car. Let it idle for 1/2 hour or so. Then get someone to rev the other car a bit while you try to start your car. Drive immediately to an auto parts place and get a new battery.

If it still won't turn over, get thee to a mechanic.

Refer to the file "STARTER.PDF" in the FSM

The starter is expensive though. Make sure to do the testing part in the FSM first to make sure you don't pay for a replacement for a part that works and still have a car that doesn't.
