alternator diagram

is there a place where I could find a diagram of how to hook up my alternator. Im pretty sure Ive done it right but its not recharging my battery or even running the car. When I jump the car and disconet the positive jumper cable the car shuts off...

should only be a plug and a ground....

maybe your plug isnt in all the way ?

or maybe your connections are grimmy and dirty.

nah it was the alternator... now I gotta go find a grimey shop that will rebuild it for 20 bucks..
