I have a blacktop s13 engine. I installed the GReddy pulleys. I tourqed down the nut on the alternator, but the nut came off (yes there was a lockwasher on there, but not anymore). I pulled the nut off the pulley from my KA24DE in my parts car (which is a 91 RPS13) and the nut from the alternator is the right diameter, but the wrong thread. Now, I've been to the hardware store and I can't find a single friggin' nut that will thread onto this mofo. My question is, does anyone know the dimensions of the nut or is the alternator from my parts car compatible? If the alternator is compatible, then I'll just swap it out. We'll see what happens I guess.

Also, I looked at the FSM and there is nothing on the sizes of the nuts/bolts. I'm either going to contact GReddy from here, or contact my local nissan dealership and see if they can't help me out.

Chances are good that a nut from a '91-93 Sentra SE-R(with the SR20DE) would work. Might cost you a few bucks, but will save some headache.

Or just go to a good screw/fastener place and find one. There are usually only 3 thread pitches for a bolt diameter, and just looking at the two shafts you should be able to determine which one is coarser. Then go from there.
