Alternator bolt sizes

hey all im in the last stages of rebuilding my engine and during the extraction and dismantaling of the engine i lost the bolts to the alternator, i have the bolt that controls the tension on the belt but i lost the ones that mount it to the engine, so if anyone knows the sizes of these bolts it would be greatly appreciated, i know there is supposed to be a long and short one. and yes i searched and yes i looked in the fsm, but to no avail.I need the lengths as well. Thanx!

What car is it? Your best bet is definitely a junk yard if you have one available to you. Bolts are pretty much free there anyway.

91 240sx coupe, they take the engines out of the car at the junkyards here i dont know if they will remove the bolts from the alternator off the engine, but i guess we will see, unless you know the sizes?

Sorry to say I don't. I could measure the bolts for a kae, but I couldn't guarantee they'd be the same as for a kade.

That's the part # for the KAE bolt and stop nut... I have a alt from a 98 ka24de and I think they're the same. I'd suggest e-mailing nissanparts.cc and asking for the part number... then just order it for $4 or so (That's all mine cost).
