Alternator Bolt breaking

I have a problem with the top bolt on the alternator breaking. I have gone through 2 of them. Anyone else have this problem, or know of a permanent fix?

The only thing I can think of is your using a substandard bolt or tightening it to tight. Also make sure the bottom bolt is tight, if loose this puts all the holding force on the top bolt.

I checked the bolt on the under-side of the alternator.. and guess what? No nut!.. I replaced both the nut and the bolt, as well as the top set bolt.. so far, things seem to be running fine.
