I have my Infiniti g35 2003 I live in Canada so one day it was very cold and my car wouldn't start so I boosted the battery then it was still draining so I changed the battery..no change..I changed the alternator ..it was working for Like 6hours and the regulator blew..second one same thing.. I checked for a short and nothing so far. Checked for a blown fuse . nothing. There's no alternator fuse on this car. I checked the wiring around the alternator I found a piece of metal against the wires I removed it . I found water in my rear light so I dried it up. But what could blow the regulator ?? Both alternator I bought it from same guy. They are rebuilder . plz help! I don't know what to do anymore!

How did you test the battery prior to changing it?

Did you ever test the output voltage and current of the original alternator prior to replacing it?

When did you discover the water in the rear light? Was that after you started replacing the battery and alternator?

FWIW it sounds to me "the same guy rebuilder" may have sold you an incorrect alternator?
Take the vehicle to an Infiniti dealer to have it checked out.
If an incorrectly rated alternator and an insufficiently rated CCA battery was installed have the dealer document their findings in writing and request a charge-back on your credit card from "that guy"

Often times buying cheap from unqualified and poorly trained guys results in buying twice with lots of aggregation and hassle thrown in at no additional charge.

Good luck
