This is going to be a stupid question, but I am new at all of this...but here goes...Where is the alternator belt tensioner for for the RB? My belt is either in need of replacement or just tightening because everytime I downshift, or put the car in neutral, it starts squealing and it wont stop until I I hit about 3500 RPM

Going from memory here, so my directions may be a little bit off. Look on the backside of the alternator bracket, you will see a 12mm bolt. Loosen that bolt. Now, look at the tip of the bracket, there is another 12mm bolt there (right next to the battery tray). That is the bolt you use to loosen or tighten the alternator. Adjust it as you need and be sure to re-tighten the bolt on the backside. Also, thats how it is done on the rb20, I can only imagine it is the same or very similar on the 25. Hope that helps.

don't forget to loosen the 2 14mm bolts that lock the alternator in place or it won't swing out when you adjust the tensioner and you'll probably bust the tensioner bolt.
