Alternator Belt question

Hey guys i'm fixing up this 240 i bought as a project car and i'm trying to put in an alternator belt... normally this isn't a problem for me but i've never worked on a 240 before. i went to the auto parts store told them i needed an alternator belt for my 240 and they gave me one, it seemed too big so i did this a couple other times at different stores and all the belts seem too big. the book i have says there isn't one, but is there an idle pully I'm missing on my engine? if not, anyone know why the belt doesn't fit?
