Alternator being a real pain- please help

Ok, im replacing my battery and alternator, and the job has been pretty bad so far (battery clamp stud snapped, alternator ground stud snapped) but alas, it is free from the block (thanks to the BFH:ylsuper ) anyway, i cant get the damn thing past the block now, and it looks like even if i did the sway bar would be in the way. Has anyone done this before (91 DOHC). I already used the search, and the most i could find was k car saying that it should be real easy because the FSM doesnt say anything about it. Thanks,

Ok, ive got it past the block (through a series of pulling, swearing, rotating, and flipping) but now have moved on to the swaybar problem. any suggestions?
