Get a manual boost controller and crank it up to 13psizephyro90 wrote:what best alternative stock turbo i can use for for the rb25det. dont like to change ingector? just want it boost for about 15psi.
cool man. definately something ill start looking into. i am a bit ahead of myself here because the motorset is still sitting on a shelf. a few more parts and ill have it installed.. just in time for snow .Carl H wrote:you want a gt30r with a .8x ar turbine housing.you'll see full boost a hair before 4k and it will pull to redline and make 400hp easy on lowish boost (i pulled 387 on 17psi and its a 20) .
was that turbo a *true* gt30r?chances are if it was a t4 footprint gt30r then it really wasnt a real 30r.on my setup it comes on to boost quickly and hits full boost round 4.5kish and contiunes to make insane boost to redline with NO drop off.there are unfortunately a number of turbos that tout them selves as a 30r, but unless the turbo is twin ball bearing, ported compressor shroud, has a t3 flange, and has 6 blades on the wheel then its not a 30r.T4 RB25det wrote:i was running a .86 ar t4 30r on my 25 and made pretty good power and quick spool, well not compared to stock. now im running a .86 ar gt35r and its a littel more laggy, but doesnt die off up top like the 30r did
How much power are you making and what do you get full boost by ?Are you having any oil problems at higher RPMS (what do you rev to) ?T4 RB25det wrote:i was running a .86 ar t4 30r on my 25 and made pretty good power and quick spool, well not compared to stock. now im running a .86 ar gt35r and its a littel more laggy, but doesnt die off up top like the 30r did
you wont safley. do it correctly or dont do it at all. stressing your injectors is a bad idea that can have BAD consequences.zephyro90 wrote:if i wanna make 350hp on wheel without changing injectors?
