Hey, guys. I have Subaru friends, and he tunes his Legacy Spec.B with his laptop, using open-source software. I don't feel like dropping $400-500 for BullyDog, and I'm curious as to whether anybody in the community is familiar with tuning software (open-source or otherwise - I don't mind spending money, just not that much money for what looks to be pretty minor modifications) that might be out on the market.

Thanks, y'all.

Usually they're saved files from other people that have previously tuned their cars with detailed mods on their car. For example, the Honda drivers usually get the software simply by downloading files from other cars that have the same mods as they have (same engine, na or turbo) so with that said I'm very positive there's no software for our cars. So that leaves you to go to a tuning shop and for the same price as bullydog, you should see better results.
