The stock upper link can be used along with shimming of the control arm bracket. This is achived via the use of flat washers. I've heard that the stillen adjustable links are susceptible to slipping and losing their setting which is not the case with the SPLs. Don't know how true it is, but the rumor is enough to make me wary...especially given the price of Stealin.ponzy wrote: Pls help me decide, a.) stock links + spl tension rodsb.) links shown above + spl tension rods.

And il be expecting those + spl ruca prolly by tue or wed.
are there any sticky's for install, i remember wes said it will just bolt right up. And a compressor is a must.
if i were to have it done, any ideas on how much would be the typical labor charge on spring/struts, front/rear sway bars, front/rear upper control arms, front tension rods, subframe collars? Respectively and all work done.
pls advice and thanks nico!
No joke here.Put my new steering rack in this weekend and aligned it Saturday, still not perfect until my tensionrods and Tokicko Blues get in this Friday. Was a mess. Free labor, lift and alignment rack though!elwesso wrote:No I never did an alignment myself, it requires way to much work and you still wont get it just right....
Definitely take it into a shop with a laser alignment machine, worth the $80-$100 they will charge but it will get done right and the Q is not an easy car to align especially with the adjusties because you change one thing and everything else changes. The guys that aligned my Q were ready for it to be rolled off the rack.
I have adjustable tension rods already.... but what's that got to do with camber? Can the rears be shimmed as easily like the fronts?elwesso wrote:no you dont want the stillens..
Honestly unless you want to get new tension rods you should be able to shim them to -1* camber and be just fine.
Besides, when you lower the REAR is what gets way out of spec vs the front.
how much did they run? Are the fronts SPL also?ponzy wrote:i got mine just today..........adjustable FUCA and tension rods; SPL adjustable rear upper control arm.
